Wealth, built together.

Run your savings circle by its own rules, on everyone's phone. And pay home from abroad, or pay school fees, at one clear price.

Free to start a circle. Works in your phone's browser today; iOS and Android apps coming soon.

Live in the app

Your circle's rules, kept by everyone.

The padlocks on the cash box become approvals. The trust you get from sitting in a semicircle, you get on a phone, with every member watching.

Two keys on every payout

Loans, grants and share-outs need the Chair and the Treasurer, two different people. The server checks it.

Secret ballots

Elections and big decisions by secret vote. The count is public; who voted how never is.

Every member told

Every contribution, loan, fine and payout reaches every member of the circle.

An audited share-out

At the end of the cycle an auditor signs the books, and each member's share is worked out to the shilling.

Pay home in pounds. It lands in shillings.

School fees, with the bursar told too.

Pay a learner's bill from home or abroad. The school's bursar gets the same receipt you do, by SMS, and the bill updates at once.

No fee from abroad

School fees to a school on Wellth carry no fee, just the rate. Placeholder pricing.

Family can chip in

A Scholar account or card is bound to one learner, and pays only their school. Family anywhere can top it up.

Launching with our licensed partners

Four cards. Virtual now, plastic when you want it.

The Wellth Card for every day, Gold for bigger payments, City for your city, and Scholar for one learner's school. Freeze any of them in a tap.

Tap a card to turn it over.

Live in the app

Save toward something with a name.

A tent for the burial society, a plot, next term's fees. A circle goal shows every member who paid what, and pays out only with two keys.

Round-ups

Round each card payment up and the change goes to your circle once a month. Coming with Wellth cards.

Your own balance

Payouts can land in your Wellth balance instead of mobile money. Launching with our licensed partners.

No one person can move the money. Not even us.

Wellth runs the rules and keeps the records. The money itself is held and moved by licensed partners.

Two keys, checked on the server

A payout without both keys is refused by the server, whatever a screen says.

Identity checks

Members verify with an ID and a selfie before they move money or hold office. We keep the result, not the images.

Licensed partners hold the money

Mobile money networks, banks and payment companies. Each feature switches on only once its partner is in place.

Your data, protected

Built for Uganda's and Kenya's data protection laws. Identity checks switch on only once we are registered in each country.

Questions, answered.

Straight from the rules Wellth runs on.
What is a circle?

A savings group of 10 to 30 members, with its own committee, ledgers and cycle, so it can register as a self-help group on its own. Several circles can share one mother group of up to 100 members, like a school's parent body.

Who can move the circle's money?

Nobody alone. Every payout, loan or grant needs two keys, the Chair's and the Treasurer's, from two different people. The person being paid never turns a key. Wellth's server checks this, whatever the screen shows.

Can other members see how I voted?

No. A secret ballot keeps the vote and the voter apart. Everyone sees the count; nobody, not even Wellth staff through the app, can pair a vote with a member.

Will I know when money moves?

Yes. Every member of a circle is told of every movement in it: who paid, who was paid, how much and why.

What does paying home from abroad cost?

By bank from the UK to Uganda, £0.99 plus 0.9% on the rate, each shown as its own line before you pay. School fees to a school on Wellth have no fee, just the rate. Your first payment from abroad has no fee. Receiving is always free. These are placeholder prices until our licensed partner's quote is in.

Does Wellth hold my money?

No. Money is held and moved by licensed partners: mobile money networks, banks and payment companies. Wellth runs the rules and keeps the records. Each money feature switches on in a country only once its partner and licence are in place.

What happens at the end of a cycle?

The circle closes its books, an auditor signs them, and the share-out pays each member their savings and their share of the earnings. Every line is in the audit export.

Is there an app?

Wellth works in your phone's browser today, and you can add it to your home screen. The iOS and Android apps are coming soon.
